Pre-course experience: Competent to Powerboat Level 2.

Assumed knowledge: Basic knowledge of sailing boats.

Minimum age 16.

Course content: Boat handling, rescue techniques for sailing dinghies, windsurfers and canoes, and tows. Rescuing people from the water.

Ability after course: Able to provide safety cover to a range of craft, particularly sailing or windsurfing.
