RYA Sailing Instructor (dinghy)

The beginning of a great Adventure! The RYA Dinghy Instructor course is your first step on the way to a career (or hobby) on the water.

The aim of the Instructors Course is to provide you with the necessary skills and techniques required to teach the RYA Syllabus within the National Sailing Scheme.

During the week there will be a variety of sessions, both practical and land based which will look at the structure of the National Sailing Scheme, training in RYA Teaching Methods, preparation and presentation of lectures and sessions, and the use of powered craft in a teaching environment. The week will provide opportunities to lead practical sessions, assist in the running of sessions and give a short talk.
