RYA Start Motor Cruising

This entry level course is ideal for anyone who would like to learn the basics of motor cruising. You will follow a lively syllabus exposing you to a variety of important subjects from anchoring and berthing, to reading a GPS, and understanding what to do in an emergency.

RYA Start Motor Cruising provides an enjoyable day of instruction on board a motor cruiser. As crew you will become more useful with day-to-day routines and have more confidence that you know what to do in the event of an emergency.

The course will be on board one of Urban Truant’s own motor cruisers, although we’re also happy to run the course on your own boat – provided it carries the basic safety equipment, which we’d be happy to discuss with you.
