Learn the basics with this gentle introduction. This course covers how to rig, sail across the wind, upwind and downwind, how to tack and gybe and come back to the shore. There are a few theory sessions giving you a clear understanding of the sport and covering a few safety points. With a little practice following this course you will be ready to take the next step. Once you have gained this certificate you will be able to join in the club sessions and hire windsurfing equipment. It is possible to Fast Track the RYA Start Windsurfing course.
