RYA Tender Operators Course

The aim of this new course is to build on the skills learnt on the RYA Level 2 Powerboat course, with the emphasis on the demands of driving a super yacht tender.

The course focuses on the boat handling and pilotage skills necessary for the safe transfer of passengers and crew by day and night. A night exercise is included in the course.

Pre-course knowledge: Candidates must hold a RYA Powerboat Level 2 with coastal endorsement.

It is recommended that candidates hold a valid first aid certificate and a VHF/SRC operator’s license or equivalent.
