RYA VHF Marine Radio (SRC)

The RYA VHF DSC Radio Course is an essential 2 day course suitable for all water users. A VHF Radio is an important item of safety kit on any vessel. If you need to contact another vessel, check you have a spot in the local marina, get a weather forecast or generate an emergency call to the coastguard or other vessels then you will find this course will allow you to confidently and legally use your VHF Radio at sea. The fine can be as much as £5,000 for unauthorised use of radio equipment.

Useful Information

On successful completion of the online course you just print off your course completion cert that you will need to bring to your friendly face to face 2 hour practical assessment that you book with ourselves plus a passport photo. The cost is £90 for assessment that includes your RYA radio licence issue fee of £60. This makes the total cost of course, exam & license issue at around £160.
