RYA VHF Marine Radio (SRC)

A ten hour course including three hours home study prior to the course using the handbook included and provided at the time of booking your course. The course will be taught and examined using radio simulators.

The final exam (required for licence) must be taken at SeaSports Centre, which includes a short written test and a practical assessment and is run by a separate assessor.

There is a charge of £60 payable to the RYA for the Exam and licence.

Exams may booked and taken either at the same time as the classroom course or on a separate date when SeaSports are running and exam day. Exams are taken in groups of no more than 4 students.
