RYA VHF Marine Radio (SRC)

The VHF Radio Course is also known as the Short Range Certificate (SRC) Course.

To get the VHF (SRC) Licence you must now:

•Attend the VHF Radio Classroom Course in Alicante OR take the Online Course AND

•Attend and pass a seperate assessment session, also in Alicante

You do not have to book the assessment at the same time as booking a course. If you opt for the online course you must still attend an assessment session in person. You cannot take the assessment online.

It is a legal requirement that if you are going to use a VHF radio you or someone on board must have a VHF Radio License. All charter companies require you to have a license if you charter a boat. If demand at your workplace we can run a course and assessment over 3 or 4 evenings or a weekend.
