There are four elements of the Basic Safety Training course - incl. Manila STCW 2010 amendments and the mandatory Proficiency in Security Awareness course module for ISPS coded vessels:

1. STCW Personal Survival Techniques

2. STCW Elementary First Aid

3. STCW Fire Fighting and Fire Prevention

4. STCW Personal Safety & Social Responsibilities

5. STCW Proficiency in Security Awareness

Useful Information

• STCW95 (2010) Basic Safety Training certificates are a requirement for virtually all professional seafarers, who must be trained in compliance with the STCW convention.

• If you want to work commercially on a yacht, commercial ships and cruise liners the STCW95 (2010) BST certificates are mandatory and essential.

• The STCW BST certificates are accredited by the Federal Transport Authority of U.A.E.

• This course is designed for beginners and professional crew members.
