Updated Advanced Fire Fighting

Upon completion of this course the students will be able to develop a realistic shipboard fire prevention program, effectively organize fire teams and respond to fires aboard their ship and have an understanding of the effects of firefighting water on their vessel. The course is limited to those personnel who already have the advanced firefighting certification as well as maintained 1 year of sea time with in the last 5 years. Students will have to sign a Self Declaration stated that the above requirements have been meet. Course provides the necessary skills check to meet STCW code, Table A-VI/3 and satisfies the MCA requirement. Students must be present and participate in classroom sessions and discussion.
