Course Outline

An exciting mix of theory and practical scenarios with a major focus on “command and control”, this course is aimed at crew appointed to control fire-fighting operations and officers who wish to qualify for a Certificate of Competency.

This 1-day course is run subject to minimum numbers.

Learning Mode

This course is a theory course at our training centre in Cowes.

Useful Information

Entry Requirements

You should be over 18 years of age and be in possession of an existing STCW Advanced Fire Fighting certificate to take advantage of the reduced price for the refresher training.

at least 6 months sea time on a merchant vessel

proof of completed STCW Advanced Fire Fighting training (in the last 5 years) – please refer to the Manila amendments (MSC.1/Circ.1560)

a good level of fitness

If you require accommodation during the course we are now able to offer our own exclusive on board accommodation whilst you are training with us.

MV Sea Trident is moored alongside our training establishment in Cowes.

Costs

This course is included within the cost of our STCW Refresher training however if you would like to book the stand-alone course of 1 day’s training, the cost for this course would be £215.00 inc VAT. With accommodation would be £265.00 inc VAT.
