Updated Proficiency in Personal Survival Techniques

Personal Survival Techniques Refresher / Updating training. 

Those seafarers that have not completed onboard training will be required to re-sit the full STCW Personal Survival Techniques module to revalidate their STCW Basic Safety Training Certificate.

Eligibility for refresher / updating training modules:

All Candidates must be in good physical condition and capable of moderate exertion during the survival, swimming exercises.

Seafarers who have six months or more sea service prior to 1 August 1998 and were exempt from basic safety courses;
