Yachtmaster Offshore - 5 Day Prep/Exam (RYA, USCG or other)

Duration -5 Days, 1800 on the evening before, until approx 1630 on the last day.  12 - 24hrs for the Exam.

Residential? -Yes.

Minimum Age -18 years

Prior Experience -50 Days, 2500 Miles, 5 Passages over 60 miles with 2 as skipper, SRC, first Aid.

Course Qualifications -MCA/RYA Yachtmaster Offshore (if successful)

Can be commercially endorsed if required.

What do I need to bring?

Warm Layers, Boots/Old Trainers. Sun cream, Sun Hat, Warm Hat. Sleeping Bag, Paper, Pencil, your Plotter (if you have one), and a Passport Photo.?

We provide

Lifejackets, Wet Weather Gear, Food, Drinks, Pillows.

The Yachtmaster Offshore Exam is renowned world over as the benchmark standard by which other nations set their standards, and many Yachtsmen aspire to this standard as either a personal goal, or as a means to go on and work commercially.

We offer a 5 day preparation course during which our instructors will offer tips and advice on the standards expected during the exam, as well as coaching on any areas you may be weaker in. The week is a fairly intensive appraisal of your skills, and there is very little time to learn completely new ones, so we advise you give us a call or send us an e-mail first so we can discuss your current skills, and help ensure you reach your goals.

The Exam is subject to an additional fee from the RYA - Payable on the day.
