TYS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Crew Chef to join a dual-season 70m+ private/ charter MY, currently in Europe.
Salary: €4250
Leave days: 84 days per year
Start date: ASAP
Joining location: Palma, TBC
Visas: Schengen mandatory, if needed
Crew based in the UK/ EU preferred.
This is a fast-paced boat, so candidates should have a minimum of 18 months of experience working on busy 60m+ vessels and must be able to think on their feet. You must be confident cooking nutritious and appetizing crew meals, be able to take initiative and contribute to the positive atmosphere in the galley. Culinary training would be beneficial but isn’t essential.
The vessel operates with a crew of 25, including a galley team of 3. Responsibilities include catering to the entire crew and providing support to the Head Chef during significant onboard events, occasionally serving dinner for up to 30 guests.
For the summer, they will be cruising the Mediterranean, then setting sail for the Caribbean by the end of the year. There is a close-knit team with wonderful Head of Departments, all with great longevity
