Looking for an exceptional and experienced Temp Chief Officer who is a well-rounded and hands-on leader for a prestigious 100m+ NEW BUILD Private MY.

Our ideal candidate is organized and efficient, good with juggling a lot if things at the same time, a great communicator, with excellent problem-solving skills, detail oriented, driven, is able to lead a fantastic deck team and loves to provide the highest level of service and exceed guest expectations.

Our candidate is great in all bridge operations, helicopter operations and prior driving experience is an advantage.

This is a hands-on position; deck presence is essential.

New Build and shipyard experience is a bonus.

Many of the crew onboard has worked for the owner for a long time, so crew retention is HIGH...

This yacht moves a lot and has a busy schedule, so this role is not for the faint hearted, we need a hardworking and enthusiastic candidate that loves to create and provide great experiences for the guest and owners.

The owning family are interactive with the crew so this role suits someone who is social but always being professional, an easy-going, friendly and caring candidate that works hard with a smile on his face. Staying calm and professional during pressure.

We are looking for a Temp Chief Officer to cover the onboard Chief Officer´s annual leave for about 2-3 months.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a Prestigious yacht with a great Captain, superb Officers and professional HOD´s and with a lovely owner on a world cruising yacht.

Contract: Temporary 2-3 months possible longer

Yacht: Private 100m+ M/Y New Build

Starting date: Mid to end of August -a little bit flexible

About the program: Completing the Med season, possible Americas Cup attendance, small shipyard period and crossing to the Caribbean

Required Documents/Certificates: Min Chief Mate 3000, STCW, ENG1, PDSD, HAD/HLO is beneficial

Requirements for application: 2 years’ experience in the same position on the similar size yacht, big crane operations, Large tender operations, Helicopter operations and experience on leading a great team, Water Sports interests, can lead by example, good verifiable references are a must. A true No-Smoker/ NO-Vaping
