Based in Florida (between Miami and Fort Lauderdale) with occasional cruises to the Bahamas and Exumas

We are seeking a Captain to helm our 84 ft Sunseeker motor yacht. Our vessel combines elegance, performance, and family-friendly comfort. If you\'re passionate about yachting, have a proven track record, and thrive in a relaxed yet professional environment, this opportunity is for you.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Expertly handle the Arneson surface drives.

• Safely operate the yacht, ensuring smooth passages and adherence to maritime regulations.

• Plan routes for both coastal cruising and longer trips to the Bahamas and Exumas.

• Lead by example, fostering a positive and collaborative crew environment.

• Coordinate with deckhand, steward(ess) to maintain seamless operations.

• Prioritize safety and guest satisfaction.

• Possess practical engineering skills to troubleshoot minor issues.

• Collaborate with local service providers for routine maintenance and repairs.

• Keep the yacht in top condition.

• Create memorable experiences for guests during their time onboard.

• Be approachable, friendly, and attentive to their needs.

• Familiarize guests with safety procedures and yacht amenities.

• While maintaining professionalism, embrace the family-oriented atmosphere.

We\'re looking for someone who embodies the following:

• Valid USCG Master 100-ton or higher license.

• Proven track record as a Captain on similar-sized yachts.

• MUST HAVE Arneson Surface Drive Expertise: Essential for handling our specific propulsion system.

• Engineering Acumen: Practical knowledge to troubleshoot and oversee maintenance.
