Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic Deckhand with 1-2 years’ experience to join a 70m+ Private support yacht in the Med early August. This is a dual season MY.

 

Our ideal candidate is organized and efficient, good with juggling a lot if things at the same time, a great communicator, with excellent problem-solving skills, detail oriented and driven to be part of a fantastic deck team.

 

The ideal candidate does not have to know everything when it comes to maintenance however must have sound product knowledge, good tender driving experience. (jet drive experience beneficial) should be able to keep the pace and have good energy. 

 

Helicopter operations experience with HDA certificate is beneficial.

 

Many of the crew onboard has worked for the owner for a long time, so crew retention is HIGH...

 

This is a dual season MY with an experienced owner, this role is not for the faint hearted, we need a hardworking and enthusiastic candidate that loves to create and provide great experiences for the guest and owners.  

 

The owning family are interactive with the crew so this role suits someone who is social but always being professional. This role will best suit a candidate who would like to be part of an exceptional crew that have worked for the owner for many years, an easy-going, friendly and caring candidate that works hard with a smile on the face.

 

Yachtmaster or Yacht Rating is preferred, must at least hold PBL2.

Required Documents/Certificates: STCW, ENG1, PDSD, Yachtmaster or Yacht rating is preferred, B1B2 in hand, HDA is beneficial

 

Requirements for application: Min 1-2 years’ experience as a Deckhand on yachts of similar size with proven large tender driving experience, Strong Water Sports Background. Good verifiable references, Good communication skills, Helicopter operation experience is beneficial

 

Salary: €3.300+/- DOE
