Summary
•Our client is looking for an experienced Sous / Crew chef to join this exciting, world-cruising, 60m expedition vessel.
•This is a fantastic opportunity, starting as a ‘temp’ during probabtion with the possibility to go permanent for the right candidate
•This vessel is currently still in the yard but due to launch and be fully operational by the end of September with an exciting cruising itinerary ahead.
•The right candidate should have previous yacht experience and be well versed in preparing healthy, nutritious crew food and help the Head Chef with guest food.
•Other duties such as provisioning, stock rotation, upholding high cleanliness standard and writing menus will be expected
•The ideal candidate will be fun, bubbly and outgoing to match the Head Chefs energy. The crew are a great bunch, they’d like someone to fit in with their ‘family’ . There are 14 crew members in total.
•It would be fantastic if candidates had baking, pastry and bread making skills
•Female candidates only due to cabin arrangements
•Salary: 5000 – 6000 USD (dependant on experience)
•Leave: this is a temp role for 3 months with the possibility of going perm. If perm it will be 60 days leave per year
•Start date: End of September
