Summary
We are currently looking for a chef for our 44m Heeson motor yacht that we are about to close on the purchase of.
Currently berthed in Rotterdam, the plan is to bring her first to Spain for a few weeks and then to Pula (which will be her home berth) in Croatia via the Split Charter Show which takes place from 4-6th October. We therefore are ideally looking for someone who could start in the next week to 10 days.
All except 2 of the crew will be new to the boat with a total complement of 8. All crew will be on full-time, permanent contracts. She was previously a very successful charter boat in the Croatia region with 10-15 weeks charter a year, something we hope to replicate.
As sole chef you will be responsible for feeding both crew and guests and we anticipate a wide variety of food styles from formal, high end catering to more family orientated pizza and burger nights.
My wife and I, as owners, enjoy a wide variety of tastes but especially appreciate food as an artform as well as being nutritious. You must be able to surprise with your choice of menu and presentation.
Along with working onboard we may occasionally request you to cook ashore for family or social events and your willingness to do so would be appreciated.
Due to crew mix and accommodation we are ideally looking for a female chef.
