Summary
We are looking for an experienced Sole Chef to join a 24m private & charter sail catamaran, single season, based in the Adriatic, starting ASAP till second half of November 2024. At the end of September the yacht will move to Sicilly. We require proven experience as a Sole Chef preferably with minimum 2 years experience working on sailing yachts of comparable size. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional culinary experiences for the guests. Your ability to adapt, think creatively, have a positive attitude, and deliver outstanding meals will contribute to the overall enjoyment of the guests. You will be responsible for planning and executing menus for various meals for 10-12 guests and 4 crew. You must be able to prepare and cook a wide range of dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts, emphasizing taste, presentation, and efficient use of space and equipment. English speaking is mandatory and Spanish language would also be beneficial.

Manage and monitor food inventory, go grocery shopping between trips, ensure timely provisioning, while maintaining quality and freshness.
Collaborate with the boat's captain and crew to create specialized menus for special guest occasions such as birthdays or anniversaries while making it a memorable dining experience.
Maintain a high level of performance and a kind and respectful attitude in a confined and dynamic work environment with the guests and crew.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the galley, optimizing storage space and implementing efficient workflows.
Work closely with the boat's captain and crew to coordinate meal service, including proper timing and logistics, and exceptional guest experiences
Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation regulations, implementing proper handling, storage, and hygiene practices to ensure the well-being of passengers and crew.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Sole Chef preferably with minimum 2 years experience working on similar size vessel
A culinary degree or relevant certification from an accredited culinary school is preferred.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with the other crew members in a confined space.
Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to plan and execute multiple meals while considering the boat's itinerary and guest requirements.
We have a zero-tolerance policy for drugs and or alcohol aboard the boat.
