EXP. DECKHAND required for 68 metre Private Yacht (read the requirements) We are looking for a high energy, self-motivated Deckhand with a minimum of 18 months experience to join our team onboard.
This is a unique programme that has historically spent majority of her years off the beaten track cruising with 3 or so owners trips per year. The vessel is well kept and run by a team of professionals that have become family, so we are looking for a team player that will fit in and gel with the deck team and other departments alike (No Ego's float here) This is a career opportunity to join a great program with lovely crew, good longevity that has a history of promoting from within, a career builder.. Cruising schedule: Meditteranean including several months in the yard, onwards to the Carribean and further afield. Requirements: -- Large Jet Tender driving experience (esp Jet drive)
-- Strong maintenance skills -- Male only due to cabin arrangements --Yacht Master or Yacht Rating & PB II minimum --STCW
-- Proficiency in Designated Security Duties --ENG1 (6 months minimum)
-- Schengen Visa or EU Passport
Salary - EUR DOE with a decent training allowance
60 days leave per annum, accrued at 5days per month. 2 return flights. (Generally very flexible with leave periods outside of owner's scheduled use)
Full medical cover on and off the vessel
Join in Tarragona end March. Those that do not meet all of the above criteria need not apply.
