First Mate/Chief Officer Wanted for 40m Private Yacht Fish.

We are a 40-meter private yacht currently docked in Florida for warranty work and will depart in early October for Panama. Our upcoming itinerary includes Panama, Costa Rica, Baja Mexico, and Alaska next summer. The yacht will be based on the West Coast long-term.

The yacht, recently painted and in excellent condition, is owned by a passionate bill fisherman. We are seeking a First Mate/Chief Officer with near-completion of OOW certification, a strong interest in yacht operations, and a genuine passion for fishing. Experience with white boats is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with docking, anchoring, and yacht management

Gain exposure to captain\\'s duties, including paperwork and weather routing

Requirements:

STCW95, B1/B2 VISA, ENG1 medical, Yachtmaster or higher (OOW preferred)

No visible tattoos (must be covered when guests are onboard)

Clean criminal record

Must be vaccinated

Fishing experience preferred
