The candidate specification

We are seeking an experienced 3rd Engineer to join a brand new, state-of-the-art 100-metre luxury motor yacht. The yacht is set to launch in late 2024 and will operate in various global locations. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the inaugural team on a high-profile vessel.

Responsibilities:

Engineering Operations: Work closely with the Chief Engineer with all the engineering operations, ensuring the yacht\\'s systems and equipment are functioning efficiently.

Maintenance: Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance plan, conduct regular inspections, and address any issues promptly.

Safety Compliance: Ensure all engineering practices comply with safety regulations and standards, maintaining up-to-date records of all safety checks and procedures.

Qualifications:

3rd Engineer experience on similar-sized yachts

Strong technical and mechanical skills with extensive knowledge of yacht engineering systems.

Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.

Proficient in maritime-specific software and engineering tools.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Valid STCW, ENG1 certifications.
