The mission:
•Lead the design and calculation of ship hulls according to classification society rules and client specifications.
•Oversee the work of project designers and draftsmen to ensure high-quality hull construction drawings.
•Identify and share lessons learned throughout project execution for continuous improvement.
•Participate in a variety of projects including FPSO hull design, methanol and carbon capture retrofits, and floating wind assets.
Your profile:
•Master\'s degree in Marine Engineering.
•8-15 years of experience in a similar hull structure engineer position.
•Knowledge of offshore structures and naval architecture.
•Expertise in structural analysis of global and detailed hull structures using FEMAP software and Class software VeriStar Hull (preferred).
•Understanding of structural interfaces with related disciplines (mooring structures, cranes, topsides, etc.).
•Knowledge of classification society rules (ABS, BV, DNV), IMO regulations, and international standards.
•Strong work ethic and team spirit in multicultural environments.
•Excellent written and communication skills.
•Adaptability to a changing and innovative work environment.
•Ability to work autonomously and report challenges or difficulties.
•Fluent in standard and technical English.
