The mission:
•Conduct concept and feasibility studies for integrating marine equipment and systems.
•Propose efficient designs and solutions that comply with classification society rules and client specifications.
•Develop necessary documentation including basis of design, layouts, P&IDs, and calculation reports (pressure drop, heat and mass balance, etc.).
•Ensure proper integration of equipment within available space, including pipe routing and maintenance considerations.
•Lead the preparation and coordination of risk analysis, hazardous area definition, and HAZID/HAZOP studies.
•Oversee the work of draftsmen for accuracy and efficiency.
•Contribute to a variety of projects including FPSO hull design, marine system retrofits, floating wind infrastructure, and integration of alternative energies.
Your profile:
•Master\'s degree in Marine Engineering or Process Engineering.
•8-15 years of experience in a similar marine systems engineering role.
•Good knowledge of machinery, piping design (P&IDs, specification and calculation)
•Knowledge of various marine systems (design and operations) (a plus).
•Proficiency in classification society rules (ABS, BV, DNV), IMO regulations, and international standards.
•Strong work ethic and team spirit in multicultural environments.
•Excellent written and communication skills.
•Adaptability to a changing and innovative work environment.
•Ability to work autonomously and report challenges.
•Fluent in standard and technical English.
