Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Bosun for a 60m+ yacht
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Bosun to join a dynamic team onboard a prestigious yacht. If you have a passion for the yachting industry and are looking to further your career, this is a fantastic opportunity for you.
Requirements:
•Experience: Minimum of 2 years of full-time experience working on yachts.
•Qualifications: Yachtmaster ticket (CE certified) is essential.
Skills:
oProficient in tender driving and familiar with its operations.
oStrong watersports skills (instruction or participation experience preferred).
oExcellent yacht maintenance skills with a hands-on approach.
•Additional:
oCharter experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
oMust be a team player, as you will be working alongside a team of 5 on deck.
oHandover will be provided, ensuring a smooth transition.
Responsibilities:
•Overseeing the general upkeep and maintenance of the yacht's deck.
•Safely handling the yacht's tender and watersports equipment.
•Assisting with guest activities during charters, including watersports.
•Collaborating closely with other deckhands and ensuring teamwork in daily operations.
•Supporting the deck team and assisting with crew leadership.
Start date: Mid/End September
Location: La Ciotat
Salary: DOE + tips
Leave: 42 days -60 days after the first year
Access to the yachts training program after 1 year.
Private/Charter
10-year survey involving a full repaint before launching refreshed for the 2025 charter market. The yacht will then do a med summer and then cross for a Caribbean charter season with some owner use state side.
