Licence Required: OOW unlimited preferred - MUST have Bridge and Deck work experience on large ships and/or yachts.

Requirements: OOW unlimited preferred but not required. A mixed commercial/yacht background would be ideal. A strong yacht background preferred

STCW + Refresher

Marine medical or ENG1 (valid for 6 months)

Passport

B1/B2 visa or green card holders

Covid vaccination preferred.

Responsibilities: Looking for a 2nd who can manage 11 crew below them and ready to hit the ground running the deck and safety/nav work orders. Bridge and Deck. Crew management and leadership.

The 2nd Officer role is great for someone coming from a busy program looking to quiet down or have the time and support to study and train for next license.

Job Specifics: 2nd Officer, leading a team of 11 crew.

This yacht is dockside with very little travel. No guests on board. For sale. Ideal for someone that wants a home base. Great time to study for courses, etc. during your down time. Also time off the boat to explore and enjoy a partial land-based position. A great opportunity to learn from a highly experienced chief officer and captain.

It is great for a person that wants to settle down in one place. Not the party type, but an active person that enjoys working out, a healthy lifestyle.

Salary range: Within yachting salary guidelines depending on experience.
