Summary

A well-experienced, qualified, and fit Captain is required for a private 50-meter motor yacht based in Turkey. The ideal candidate should hold a minimum Masters 500GT, but Masters 3000 preferred with 5 years experience in the yacht industry. This is ideally suited to a candidate who doesn't mind travelling and working in Turkey and who can commit long term to the programme. The vessel has an existing crew and you will need to hit the ground running. Jetdrive experience is a requirement but all candidates will be considered.

The start date for this role is mid-October, with a solid amount of handover experience provided.

Job Specification

• Valid STCW '10 Certificates

• Valid ENG1 Medical with no restrictions

• Proficiency in Designated Security Duties (PDSD)

• Minimum 5+ Years in similar role experience

• Minimum Master > 500gt or higher with preference higher ticket holders

• Must show strong Mediterranean navigation knowledge and cruising experience i.e. SOF, Sardinia, Amalfi Coast, Corisca

• Excellent leadership skills and professionalism

• MTU experience advantageous

• Good health and good sobriety

• Must speak fluent English

• Must have good written references and contact details must be provided

• No visible tattoos and preferrably no smokers

• Male candidates only due to shared cabin on charter with Chief Engineer
