MYyachtcrew is actively looking for a competent BOSUN/SECOND OFFICER to join a Dutch 55m private M/Y
Itinerary: Pacific cruising and then heading into Asia. Off the beaten track
Start date: Mid November
Currently Crossing the Med
Leave: 3:1
Requirements:
-STCW 2010, ENG1 and recently qualified OOW.
-Must have at least 3 years experience on similar sized yachts
-Longevity is very important and they will promote from within. This opportunity will be great for career progression. You will work with a very experienced first officer and there is no second officer onboard.
-Experience in AwlGrip products + Spraying, driving Jet Tenders and with LSA/FFE checks.
-Confident in leading a team of 2 deck crew. Lead by example, be very organised and have an excellent eye for detail.
-Fit healthy individual and strictly non-smoker. This is important as they are a fit active crew and while they enjoy social evenings together, it’s not a big party scene.
- Water sports and fishing background is a big plus as there is a focus on fishing.
