Good Morning all,
I am looking for an Experienced Deckhand to join us on a permanent contract. We are a 90m commercial charter yacht that has just finished up the Med Summer Season.
We will be spending the winter in Spain - (Vilanova) completing winter works (Varnish and Painting) with a plan to leave in April to start the Med Season 2025. We spend a large amount of time on anchor in the Summer so for someone wanting sea time for their OOW this is perfect for you. We really encourage our Deckhands to start their TRB if they haven't already and for those of you working towards OOW we love making sure you can tick through those tasks. We run with 20 crew and the deck team consists of Chief Officer, 2nd Officer, Bosun, and 4 Deckhands. As the deckhand you will be expected to varnish, paint and maintain the vessel during the winter months and during the summer you will be driving tenders, running water sports activities and keeping the yacht clean. We have family vibe onboard and are couple friendly. Due to our minimum safe manning we require you to have a Navigational Watch Rating OR Yacht Master Offshore Commercially Endorsed - This is non negotiable!! To be considered you must have the following: - Minimum 1 years Experience - NWR or YM - Valid ENG 1 Medical - Valid STCW - Vanish Experience - Paint Experience - Tender driving Experience We share an equal split of all tips with the crew. The holiday package is 46 days plus 10 days for training or courses and money contributed to courses. We love to teach on board and value a good can do attitude over lots of experience. Winter should be fairly quiet with weekends off (unless you are on watch!!)
