Summary
Expedition/Support vessel recently launched looking for a Second Engineer. Vessel is currently cruising remote locations and will be off the beaten path for the foreseeable future.
I am looking for a candidate that is enthusiastic and excited about working at sea/onboard a vessel and can show initiative in the work environment and is a motivated self starter. Must be hands on and posses knowledge of marine engineering.
Trade exeperience is a plus but not necessary but having a good positive can-do attitude and team player will be a huge contribution to the successful candidate.
Applicant should be willing to commit to at least a year onboard and have a good understand the importance of good crew dynamics.
Vessel carries a vast array of tenders and toys, lots of crane operations and big lifts.
Plus if has interests or experience with: MTU ME\'s, CAT Gens and cruising remote locations so understands how to operate when not in port once a week.
-Itinerary: Worldwide.
-Minimum 1 year as Engineer aboard vessels.
-Experience in ocean passages, good physical fitness, STCW, ENG1.
-VISA: B1/B2 prefered but not essential.
