Summary
We are looking for a full-time OOW 2nd Officer to join a busy 60m Private / Charter Expedition Vessel.
Candidates should be experienced on vessels 50-60m+ who can hit the ground running to help finish a short yard period before heading to the Caribbean for the Antigua Boat Show and Charter season.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced tender driver, the vessel has 5 tenders onboard up to 13m, jet, stern drive & outboard. Someone who is not afraid of hard work, motivated, organised, with a strong eye for detail, able to lead well by example. Deck Team is made up of C/O, 2/O, Bosun plus 2-3 Deckhands so the candidate should be willing to teach and share knowledge with the deck crew while acting as the right hand man for the C/O. Bridge knowledge of ISM / ISPS is a must as you will be running the LSA and FFE and passage planning.
Candidates with Sail, Dive, Kite board or Fishing skills would have a big advantage. Would consider a Bosun with a fresh OOW looking to step up.
€6,000 +/- DOE p/m plus 60 days leave.
Candidate who apply VIA YOA will have a better chance of being seen.
