Summary
Looking for a Rotational Chief Engineer to join our program;
• 45m RMI Flagged private motor yacht
• We'll be cruising the Caribbean and Central America through to Feb. Crossing to the South Pacific after
• Minimum Y3 or equivalent National CoC
• MUST have US B1/B2 Visa
• Can be from a commercial background, but must have at least 2 years of Yachting experience
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to work well within the team
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills and attention to detail
• Salary DOE
Responsibilities:
• Safe and proper operation of the Engineering department at all times
• Adherence to, and upkeep of vessel's planned and preventative maintenance systems (YMS360, Pinpoint works) in accordance with regulatory requirements, manufacturers' specifications, and vessel/owner policies etc.
• Maintenance of Engine Department files, drawings, and records
• Maintainance of Engine Logbooks and Record Books
• Monitoring and reporting of the vessel's Classification and Flag requirements
• Collaborate with all departments to maintain a positive and productive work environment
• Efficient and Economical operation, maintenance, and repair of the engineering department and vessel systems
