Sole Engineer in United States

Summary

We are looking for a Sole Engineer for a 40m+ Private S/Y.

-Permanent position to start ASAP in the USA

-Busy dual season vessel.

-Must have Y4 (or equivalent) in hand!

-The ideal candidate will be a hands on engineer with proven longevity.

-Experience on similar sized vessels is preferred.

-Caterpillar experience is a big bonus!

-Must have B1/B2 visa in hand

-Candidates should be fluent in English

-Total of 7 mixed nationalities onboard

-Non smoking vessel and no visible tattoos 

Salary DOE with standard MLC SEA.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/3 Y4 Chief Engineer (<200gt <1500kW)/ EOOW III/1 (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
