ROTATIONAL CHEF REQUIRED FOR A 40M+ PRIVATE MOTOR YACHT

An exciting opportunity for a skilled chef to work in rotation with the head chef onboard a magnificent 40+m motor yacht based and cruising in the Mediterranean. The Principals like all types of cuisines and are willing to try various foods within their dietary requirements.
Organization and excellent preparation skills are extremely important. Exceptional culinary skills with
a passion for healthy cuisine and proficiency in preparing meals following a diabetic diet is essential.
JOB TASK
● Sourcing of all ingredients for meals, often without using an allround supplier.
● Preparation of menu plans to be discussed and approved by the principal or the permanent
chef.
● Daily preparation of breakfast, lunch and dinner for 2-8 guests.
● Daily preparation of lunch and dinner for 9 crew.
● Maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the galley and food storage areas on a daily
basis. You will also ensure that at the end of each rotational period that everything is
organized, labelled and dated for the incoming chef.
● Accounting on spreadsheets which will be provided to the Captain at the end of every
working period.
