Position Summary
A Yacht Manager oversees the overall operation, maintenance, and management of yachts within our growing fleet. He/she ensures that all aspects of the yacht's performance and crew management are executed efficiently, representing the owner's best interests and ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Excellent organizational and communication skills to coordinate with captains, owners, and regulatory bodies;
- Strong financial acumen for budget management, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining high operational standards;
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple vessels or projects at once;
- Basic understanding of the yacht management cycle, from crew management to charter regulations.
Required experience and skillset
- At least 3 years of experience ashore or onboard yachts, preferably in management roles;
- ISM and safety management experience is crucial; must be comfortable working with Class and Flag requirements;
- Experience managing refits, maintenance, and audits is a plus.
- Some travel is required for client meetings, vessel inspections, and audits.
