Chief Officer/1st Mate

Summary

We are seeking a Chief Officer with commercial shipping experience who is already in possession of a II/2 MASTER Unlimited Class 1 ticket

Package: 7 weeks on / 7 weeks off - competitive salary paid all year, flights and insurance.

Large US based super yacht > 3000GT runs a private use only program to full ISM/ISPS certification standards. Preference given to candidates with a combination of experience in the merchant navy (bulk carriers / cruise liners) combined with more recent experience in private yachting. Ideal joining date: 1st December, 2024. Visa required: must already hold a B1/B2 for your application to be considered.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• Reg II/2 CoC Master (Unlimited) / Class 1
