We are seeking an experienced Private Chef to join a private household in Kensington. The ideal candidate must have previous experience working in private homes and demonstrate strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills, along with a flexible approach.
This role involves working alongside two other chefs in a well-structured team, rotating shifts and covering a 5-day work week. Flexibility is essential, as you will alternate between early and late shifts, typically 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM or 12:30 PM to 8:30 PM, including weekend coverage.
You will be responsible for preparing breakfasts, lunches, and dinners for a family of six, including 2 adolescence, whose parents lead busy professional lives. In addition to daily meals, the family occasionally entertains guests for dinner, during which you will be required to adjust your hours. The focus of this role is on creating nutritious, homemade meals with a variety of cuisines, while also occasionally preparing healthy desserts, bread, and baked goods.
The household is fully staffed with housekeepers, nannies, drivers, and security personnel, making it essential that you can work efficiently within a collaborative, team-oriented environment. We are looking for someone who is passionate about food, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is ready to start ASAP. Salary circa £65,000-£70,000.
