Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Temp Chief engineer for a 50m yacht
We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join a 50m on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily engineering operations and addressing any technical issues that may arise.
Requirements
- Chief Engineer up to 3,000 kW (Merchant Navy) or Second Engineer Unlimited CoC holder (Merchant Navy).
- Valid STCW Reg. III/2 certification.
- Proven experience in a similar role on yachts or commercial vessels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily engine room operations and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of machinery.
- Handle any technical issues or emergencies as they arise.
- Collaborate with the crew to ensure smooth operation and adherence to protocols
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 1month aprox.
Location: Imperia
Salary: EUR 8000
Based in Imperia for the duration of the temporary role. No guests.
