BRILLIANT TEMPORARY HOUSEKEEPER OPPORTUNITY FOR HNWI IN FULHAM

Contract: Part-Time, 6-month fixed-term contract (30 hours weekly)
Salary: £20-£25 per hour, depending on experience

We are assisting a lovely HNWI with the recruitment of an experienced, self-motivated, and organised Housekeeper to work on a part-time basis (30 hours weekly) in their 7-bedroom home in Fulham. Energetic and hard working, you will manage your time effectively and be responsible for all housekeeping, laundry, and ironing, as well as assisting with wardrobe management, packing/unpacking and light cooking.
Ensuring the smooth running of the home, you will be highly organised and tech-savvy, keep inventories updated, place orders online and liaise with tradesmen and suppliers, as well as the principal’s wider team, so excellent communication skills are required. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in high-end luxury homes and have excellent knowledge of cleaning products, knowing how to care for fine fabrics and finishes. Though no childcare is required in this role, the family are looking to appoint a child-friendly Housekeeper.
Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9am-3pm, with the occasional Saturday morning by prior arrangement. Initially offered as a 6-month fixed term contract, there is the possibility that this role could turn permanent and offer great potential for growth for the right candidate. Candidates already located in SW London are preferred, and the start date would be late November.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• Cleaning including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, changing beds, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen
• Laundry and ironing, including managing dry cleaning drop offs/pick-ups
• Wardrobe management and packing/unpacking
• Managing and receiving deliveries
• Ensuring household stocks and cleaning supplies are always at sufficient levels
• General organisation and tidiness of the home
• Preparing light meals and snacks as required
• Liaising with contractors and tradesmen, as well as the wider team
• Ad-hoc household administration and errand running
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Prior housekeeping experience in a busy high-end private household
• Fluency in English and good communication skills
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Hardworking and dedicated
• High attention to detail
• Able to work independently with little supervision
• Highly discreet, trustworthy and reliable
• London-based
• DBS-checked or willingness to have a DBS check done
• Excellent checkable references
