Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Captain to join a 35m private new build motor yacht, requiring a 500 GT license. The position offers the chance to operate in some of the world’s most desirable yachting locations, beginning with a winter season between Miami and the Bahamas, then transitioning to the Mediterranean in March.
This role will involve a 2-3 week handover period with the current Captain, who will accompany you on the voyage from Houston to Miami, ensuring a smooth transition.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years as Captain on a similar-sized vessel or 3+ years as a Chief Officer ready to take on a leadership role
- Min. requirements: 500 GT or equivalent, ENG1, STCW. Green card or B1/B2
- Skills: Strong leadership and team-building abilities, with a focus on private yacht operations, crew management, and safety
