Summary
SHOREBASED - We are looking for an experienced, dedicated chef to join us for a three-month, 6 days per week, seasonal position in Gstaad, Switzerland, from mid-December to mid-March. This role involves preparing lunch and dinner daily for the family, with a strong emphasis on flexibility around hours to meet our guests’ needs.
Our ideal candidate brings a background in French, Italian, or Spanish cuisine, with a refined approach to these culinary traditions. We’re seeking someone with a hands-on approach who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can work seamlessly as part of a team, and brings a calm, adaptable attitude under pressure.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver outstanding meals for our guests, adapting to varied styles and themes as needed, including plated dinners, buffets, and more.
• Host dinner parties with confidence, serving large groups with ease and professionalism.
• Ensure the highest standards in both preparation and presentation, with attention to detail and creativity in every dish.
Requirements:
• Proven experience with French, Italian, or Spanish cuisine.
• Exceptional flexibility, adaptability, and a positive, team-oriented mindset.
• Strong experience with event-style dining, managing large dinner parties and different service styles seamlessly.
Accommodation nearby provided 6 days per week, lunch & dinner service for the family as well as cooking meals for the staff.
