Summary

Position: Temporary Crew Chef (1 Month Contract)

Location: Europe to Caribbean (Shipyard Period & Crossing)

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Temporary Crew Chef to join our team and work alongside our Head Chef during a shipyard period and transatlantic crossing. This role involves providing high-quality, nutritious meals for 20 crew members, ensuring variety, balanced flavors.

Key Responsibilities:

Meal Planning & Preparation: Collaborate with the Head Chef to create daily lunch and dinner menus, focusing on balanced, flavorful, and nutritious meals suited to the crew’s needs during the shipyard period and long crossing.

Provisioning Assistance: Help source and manage ingredients and supplies for the duration of the trip, ensuring freshness and adequate inventory.

Health & Safety Standards: Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety in the galley, adhering to maritime regulations and best practices.

Positive Onboard Environment: Contribute to a positive team atmosphere, supporting morale through meal variety and fostering a collaborative environment in the galley.

Experience: Prior experience working onboard yachts, particularly cooking for a crew of similar size.

Visa: Schengen Visa or equivalent documentation for travel within the EU.

Certification: Minimum Food Hygiene Level 2 certification.

Salary: DOE
