Summary
We are looking for an experienced, bright and enthusiastic 2nd Steward/ess for a prestigious and professionally run 65m+ Private MY. This is a rotational position.
Our ideal candidate is confident and dynamic in interacting with guests of all levels, has excellent service skills and a confident refinement in the service she provides. Detail orientated and pro-active, you will see a job through and prioritise effectively to ensure the highest standards are met.
The ideal candidate will already have experience as a 2nd Steward/ess on a 50m + Motor Yacht. This is a guest facing role, so must be particularly confident in service, with proficiency in cocktails, wines, barista, table decorations, table settings and flower arrangements. The interior rotates through all department’s so strong housekeeping knowledge is also essential.
Many of the crew onboard has worked for the owner for a very long time, so crew retention is HIGH... The Chief stewardess has been onboard for 6 years.
The owning family are interactive with the crew so this role suits someone who is social but always being professional, who loves her chosen profession, an easy-going, friendly, motivated, forward-thinking and caring candidate that works hard with a smile on her face.

This is a Dual season yacht that travels off the beaten tracks, it has been talks about Alaska next summer, so we are looking for a candidate who are adventurous, social and the loves to explore new placed.

Required Documents/Certificates: STCW, ENG1, PDSD, Food & Hygiene Level 2, WSET level 2/Cocktail would be an advantage, B1B2 or USA work rights is essential.
Requirements for application: Previous experience as a 2nd Steward/ess on a 55m+ MY, Wine and Cocktails knowledge, Table settings, good verifiable references, good communicator, longevity in previous positions.
