CAPTAIN FOR POWER CAT 68ft
SUMMARY:
We are currently looking for a Captain for a 20m (68 ft) private power cat based in the Mediterranean.
- Permanent position - Captain
- Boat: Sunreef Supreme 68ft Power
- Mediterranean summer season (approx. April to October) on board + winter service work and service coordination
- Location: Mediterranean (exp. location for 2025 season is France/Monaco/Italy/Baleares)
- Start date: Latest January 2025 for the permanent cooperation and to be involved into the winter service care, but also possibility to start earlier (TBC in person)
Joining location: winter berth is currently under negotiation (Spain/Croatia)
Salary & leave: To be discussed based on final cooperation scenario, crew set-up and your experience
MUST HAVES:
- EU based/citizenship
- English speaking
- Yacht Master Offshore minimum
- no criminal record
- has experience in a similar role but may also consider someone who is moving up into their next/upper level of Captain role
- engineering/technical experience, must be able to overtake the responsibility of technical maintenance, planning/recommend services, to be an experienced negotiating partner to Service suppliers based on his technical knowledge
PREFERENCES:
- Knowledge of/an experience with Mediterranean region is a big plus (plans for 2025 season - France, Monaco, Baleares, Italy)
- Available to spend few months in a row on a boat (summer season)
CREW MODEL:
- You will create a double-head core team with an experienced Chief Stew who is responsible for casual boat operations (cooking, house-keeping, administration, also experienced skipper&deckhand) + 2 other crew members
- Other crew members and final optimal crew set-up is under discussion now and you should be ideally involved into this process
- The boat has 3 owners (CZ), they use the boat often for their private stays with families and friends
- The keen is to create a familiar atmosphere, thus long-term cooperation is highly preferred
