3rd Engineer in Italy

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Third Engineer with a background in yacht operations to temporarily join our private 85m+ motor yacht. This role will be focussed on supporting the engineering department in daily operations and maintenance during a winter period. Required from 01 February – 20 April.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Engineers and ETO with all technical operations, including maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
2. Maintain detailed logs and records of all engineering activities.
3. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
4. Assist in emergency procedures and troubleshooting as required.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience onboard yachts.
2. EOOW or equivalent yacht qualification.
3. Valid STCW certification and ENG1 Medical certificate
4. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
5. Flexibility and ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.

Salary commensurate with experience
