Shipyard 3rd Engineer – Private 100m+ M/Y
The yacht will be in the yard to undergo winter maintenance and is looking for a temporary 3rd engineer to reinforce the large existing team during this busy period.
Start date: Early December till mid-February
Itinerary: Europe
Package: Salary in Euros. Daily rate inclusive of leave
Experience and attributes required:
- Proven record of refit experience on large yachts/cruise ships
- Proficiency in the maintenance of tenders/water toys
- Proficiency in the maintenance of HVAC equipment
- Proficiency in the maintenance of potable water production/distribution system equipment
- Proficiency in the maintenance of fuel oil purifiers and pumps
- Understanding of electrical systems and basic fault finding
- Hands-on in general engineering tasks
- Familiar with the work reporting and planned maintenance systems
- Preferred cruise ship background
Qualifications required:
EOOW unlimited – III/1
STCW (fully updated) with PDSD
Seafarer\'s Medical Certificate valid for at least 6 months
Seaman\'s Discharge Book
