Summary
112 Westport Private Foreign Flagged
Fort Lauderdale program based when not travelling. Year dock under the shed at Bradford Marine.
41ft Valhalla tender that’s towed and sits on the same slip at Bradford.
Owners are American in their early 60s Tennessee.
Fair weather owners who do not do the passages with the boat and fly in when they use the boat.
Candidates can live ashore when the boat is not travelling at their own expense of course.
Owners like very high end southern traditional service. When it’s just them they like to be left alone but taken care of from afar. When they host their guests, they expect the highest standards when it comes to service. Anticipatory service required.
Mrs. sticks to a very strict schedule. They wake up at the same time each day, eat their meals at set times and don’t gravitate out of their normal routine much. Mrs. would like the Chief Stew to plan the days in advance almost like a set menu which will be presented/displayed on the bar along the menu for the day. She likes to be in the know. No surprises.
Mrs. likes tables decor and table scaping very much. She doesn’t like tacky, over the top, shiny, lights up nonsense. Tasteful elegance and mature intentional themes.
Prior to boss trips with guests the Stew is required to touch base with Mrs. to start the planning, accumulating preferences and ensure everything is seamless once they step on board.
Mr. and Mrs. always dress well. They don’t laze around in sweatpants. Super polished well put together. The dress for each meal.
Once the New Sole stew is hired, the captain would love them to create an owner’s bible. The crew know the owners well, and there are various notes all over the place but nothing professional or a place to be memorialized.
Next trip is first week of January in the Bahamas. This will be the boss and his friends for a fishing trip. They will spend a lot of the time and most of the daylight fishing. There are separate tenders and guides arranged for this trip. This will be a 4-day trip ending at Atlantis where they will drop off the boys and pick up the Mrs. The boat will then head to Harbor Island, just the two of them where they will also stay a night or too off the boat.
Start Asap with a 1-week trial for both parties to ensure it’s a decent match.
Salary for the Sole Stew is $6000-$7000 DOE
