We are searching for a hands on proactive technician with a marine related background , looking to take the next step towards a career in project management. OP-CO is a marine engineering service provider in the superyacht industry.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to blend hands-on experience with project management responsibilities. Based in Southampton, this role offers a varied workload with a mix of on-site, workshop, and remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning: Prepare proposals, estimates, and project plans, working from home most days.
- Technical Support: Assist in the workshop as needed, carrying out basic tasks and project preparations.
- On-Site Execution: Spend approximately 2 months outside the UK managing projects across the EU.
- Collaboration: Work closely with clients and the internal team to ensure seamless project execution.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a technical or trade background, ideally in a marine related field or electrical or mechanical engineering.
- Is experienced and hands-on, with a desire to transition into a planning and project management role.
- Has excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask.
- Is adaptable, self-motivated, and thrives in a dynamic environment.
