We are looking for an exceptional Engineer with sailing skills for a Classic 38m commercial Sailing Yacht. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic sailor and qualified Engineer.
Our ideal candidate is a great communicator, passionate about their job and highly organised in a professional but relaxed manner. Minimum 2 years engineering experience on a 24+m Sailing Yacht. The candidate can be male or female but must have a true passion for sailing and engineering.
This is a beautiful classic 1930’s Jclass which is a racing and cruising sailing yacht. The vessel is currently finalising its electrical refit which has been lead by a highly skilled build engineer. The candidate will join the engineering team and will work alongside the build engineer while finishing the commissioning process and finally take over full ownership of the engineering department once the refit is complete. The build engineer will not come to sea once the vessel is complete.

About the program: Probable single season vessel based in Spain for the winter.
Required Documents/Certificates: STCW, ENG1, Engineering CoC (min AEC 2 but MEOL or SV preferable), YM Sail (Ocean is a bonus)
Requirements for application: Minimum 3-5 years as an engineer with-in the superyacht industry, Big boat sailing experience
Salary: Industry standard DOE
